TCG Plus Card Condition Guide

Every card purchasable on our website has been given a condition. These conditions are there to inform you of the card’s potential flaws, and to avoid dissapointed when purchasing on our website. On this page you will learn about our types of condition, the standards we have assigned to them, and how to know beforehand what state the card is in that you will receive.

Please note that foil cards and cards from older sets (1996 – 2006) are not as harshly graded as other cards, since these tend to damage easier over time. This may cause the cards to have a few extra tiny flaws. Other attributes such as centering are not taken into account when assessing the cards.

Near Mint

Cards in Near Mint condition are the most pristine available in our store. They show minimal to no wear or flaws on the surface, edges or corners. Scratches range from non-existent to 1 or 2 tiny scratches. These are almost always booster fresh, or have been sleeved immediatly and kept in near perfect condition. Tiny nicks or marks are only acceptable when not clearly visible without close inspection. For any serious collector, Near Mint is the way to go.

The Near Mint acceptance range includes cards with no imperfections to cards with a few minor imperfections.

Lightly Played

Cards in Lightly Played condition are often still very close to Near Mint condition cards, but can have more noticable nicks, scratches and edge/border wear. These flaws are almost always on the back of card, and are still in very good condition.
